Looking at movies with Film Noir

During class we watched a series of movies and video clips that had the features of Film Noir, the features include:

• lighting options 
• light coming through shutters 
• light focusing on a characters eyes
• a characters shadow 
• misty - foggy environment 
• focus on one particular aspect of something or someone
• using the aspects of Film Noir usually means that the timeline of the film or video clip is not in chronological order
